Refills and Rebates
You may have a prescription that allows you to obtain refills directly through your pharmacy. Please call your pharmacy to determine if they can dispense a refill without further authorization from us. (Pharmacy telephone numbers are available in the directory below)
You should plan on contacting the pharmacy at least 24- 48 hours prior to picking up your medication. This gives them time to prepare your prescription and reduces your waiting time.
If the pharmacy needs our authorization, we will take the following into consideration:
- Was the prescription written by our practice? We do not refill medications that we have not prescribed.
- Have we seen you in the last 6 months? We require an office visit at least every 6 months to continue any long-term therapy. If we have not seen you in the last 6 months, please call to make an appointment.
